At last, we’ve received some respite in the form of rain. Looks like We had 3.8″ on Thursday and 1.8″ on Sunday. Furthermore, the temperature has moderated and the burn ban is lifted.

It appears that La NiƱa weather conditions have given way to our friend, El Nino. Hopefully this change will bring us more badly needed rain. For the technically inclined, further reading on ENSO conditions is available at the US Climate Prediction Center.
